talent-noma.com is run by TalentNoma, a small recruitment service based in Bright, in the Victorian high country. Our work is introducing people who live in Australia to home-based roles that other businesses provide. This statement explains what becomes of personal information when you look through our pages or make contact.
We keep to the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If any part of it needs explaining, email careers@talent-noma.com.
No application form sits on the site at this stage. People come to us by WhatsApp or email, so the only information we hold is whatever someone chooses to send. In most cases that amounts to:
If a form is brought in later, we will revise this statement first and set out each question it asks.
TalentNoma does not buy contact lists, and we do not pull details from anyone's social media. Should an employer tell us how an introduction went, such as a role now being taken, we may jot down a short note so we can keep you informed.
Every time a page is opened, the hosting provider notes ordinary technical details: the IP address that made the request, the browser and device, the page viewed and the time. We rely on these to keep the site steady and secure, and not to work out who an individual visitor is.
Nobody from TalentNoma will ask you over WhatsApp or email for a password, a one-time code, online banking details or a photograph of an identity document. A message that does ask for any of these did not come from us. Please do not reply, and forward it to careers@talent-noma.com. We never ask applicants for payment, passwords or banking details at any stage.
We read what you send so that we can reply, describe the short course and the two kinds of role, suggest which might suit you, and set up an introduction to an employer if that is what you want. A short record of the exchange spares you from going over the same ground twice.
We do not sell, swap or rent applicant information to anybody. We do not send you marketing for products that have nothing to do with us. Your details reach only the employer you have agreed to, and no one else unless we ask first and you say yes.
You are always told the employer's name before any introduction. Once you have agreed, we hand over only what that employer requires, which is usually your name and mobile number. The employer then keeps its own record under the privacy rules it must follow.
A few third-party services help us run the site and keep in touch with applicants:
If we take on any other service that would deal with applicant information, we will add it here before it is used.
We may hand over information where an Australian law, a court order or an authorised government agency requires it, or where it is reasonably necessary to keep a person from serious harm.
You are always the one who sends a WhatsApp message to us. Tapping a WhatsApp link only opens the app; nothing is sent until you tap send. Once you do, we can see your message, your WhatsApp display name and your phone number.
talent-noma.com runs no analytics and sets no advertising cookies right now. Your browser may hold small technical files that help pages load and display as they should. If any measurement tool is added later, we will describe it here before it goes live.
TalentNoma may advertise its roles online. No advertising pixel or conversion tag is present on the site today. If one is added, we will publish its identifier here, it will never be given your name or phone number, and we will not use enhanced conversions, Customer Match or remarketing audiences built from applicant information.
Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp may hold or process data in other countries, among them the United States and countries within the European Union. Each company sets out its own privacy and security terms.
Chat and email records are removed no later than 12 months after our last contact with you. Technical logs are cleared inside 30 days, and any backups fall away within a further 30 days.
Only the TalentNoma team members who work on applications can reach applicant messages. We protect our accounts with strong, separate passwords and two-step sign-in wherever it is offered. As no online service can be perfectly secure, please keep sensitive details out of your messages unless we have asked for them.
Your WhatsApp chat also sits on your own phone, and any employer you meet through us keeps its own records. Deleting our copy has no effect on theirs.
Email careers@talent-noma.com to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. We aim to answer inside 30 days. You can leave the process at any point and we will stop using your details, although we cannot retrieve anything an employer already has with your consent.
No application is ever accepted or turned down by a machine. A member of our team reads each message in person.
TalentNoma roles are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly gather information from anyone younger than that.
If you believe we have mishandled your information, write to careers@talent-noma.com and describe what happened. We will look into it and give you a written response.
If you would like to mention TalentNoma to someone, please share a link to the website rather than handing us their details, so they can read this statement and choose what to share themselves.
We revise this statement whenever our practices change, and the date at the top shows which version applies. For larger changes, such as a new form or provider, we will also let current applicants know.
